Once upon a time there was an island
Beyond the horizon far away
It was a green, fruitful land, with water so clear
Hidden behind a ring of haze
   It was a place, where the people could live
   Free and in peace
   A place where the children could live
   Without any fears
Once the forefathers of the dwellers fled from war and inequity
And created a realm of peace and democracy

And so the people lived happily for hundreds of years
Beyond the horizon, hidden by the fog
