And Ayleen listened very mindfully

For a long time, Ayleen had kept silent absorbed in thought

And then, after a long, long while
Ayleen knew what to do
She sent delegates to the south, the east and the west
To every realm and kingdom that she knew

And she persuaded the rulers and kings
To form an alliance against Banewort and the ill
Even the dwarfs and the elves fell into line
And they raised a huge army of brave fighting men

And the evening before she led the army into the war
Ayleen went to the shore alone
And there at the beach where once she should be sacrificed
She took her harp and sang her song one more time
